How to Get the Microphone Working on DigitalTCO

DigitalTCO relies on your microphone to transcribe your notes accurately, but there are specific browser and setup requirements to ensure it works seamlessly. Follow this guide to troubleshoot and get your microphone working correctly.

Browser Compatibility

DigitalTCO's microphone feature is supported only on the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Note: DigitalTCO does not work with Apple Safari. This is because Apple restricts access to third-party applications for microphone use, limiting functionality outside its proprietary software.

Initial Setup Steps

1. Check Browser Compatibility

Ensure you are using one of the supported browsers listed above. If you are using Safari or another unsupported browser, switch to Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

2. Configure Your Microphone in DigitalTCO

  • Navigate to Customize > Profile in the left-hand sidebar.
  • Click on Check Default Microphone to verify that your microphone is set up correctly.
  • If the microphone isn’t functioning as expected, follow the on-screen instructions provided in this section to troubleshoot.

3. Onboarding Sidebar

  • Use the Onboarding Sidebar located on the right-hand side of the interface.
