How to Update a Patient ID After Creating a Note
If you need to update or add a patient ID to an existing note in DigitalTCO, the process is quick and straightforward. Here's how you can do it:
Steps to Update a Patient ID
- Navigate to the Notes List
- Open the Notes List where all your notes are displayed.
- Locate the Patient Icon
- Within the note, find the person/user icon next to the note details.
- If the patient ID is missing, you’ll see the icon with a strikethrough.
- Click the Patient Icon
- Click on the icon to open the ID editor.
- Add or Edit the Patient ID
- Enter the new patient ID into the provided field.
- Make any necessary changes to an existing ID.
- Save Your Changes
- Confirm your updates, and the patient ID will be saved to the note.
