How to Update a Patient ID After Creating a Note

If you need to update or add a patient ID to an existing note in DigitalTCO, the process is quick and straightforward. Here's how you can do it:


Steps to Update a Patient ID

  1. Navigate to the Notes List
    • Open the Notes List where all your notes are displayed.
  2. Locate the Patient Icon
    • Within the note, find the person/user icon next to the note details.
    • If the patient ID is missing, you’ll see the icon with a strikethrough.
  3. Click the Patient Icon
    • Click on the icon to open the ID editor.
  4. Add or Edit the Patient ID
    • Enter the new patient ID into the provided field.
    • Make any necessary changes to an existing ID.
  5. Save Your Changes
    • Confirm your updates, and the patient ID will be saved to the note.
