How to Edit or Change a Note in DigitalTCO

If you’ve noticed something wrong in a note after creating it, don’t worry—DigitalTCO provides an edit functionality to help you make corrections easily.

Steps to Edit a Note

  1. Go to the Notes List
    • Navigate to the Notes List in DigitalTCO and locate the note you want to edit.
  2. Open the Note
    • Click on the note you’d like to modify.
  3. Click the "Edit Note" Button
    • In the bottom-right corner, you’ll see a button labeled Edit Note.
    • Click it, and the note will load into CHEET (the edit bot).
  4. Dictate the Changes
    • Speak clearly to describe the correction. For example:
      • “I made a mistake. Please change Upper Left 6 to Upper Left 7.”
    • Press the Send button to process your changes.
  5. Wait for Processing
    • The bot may take a moment to process your request.
    • If the note looks odd in CHEET, don’t worry—this is temporary.
  6. Check the Updated Note
    • Go back to the Notes List, where you’ll find the newly edited note.
    • Open it, and you’ll see the changes applied.
  7. Copy and Paste if Needed
    • If the final note isn’t exactly as you need, you can open it, copy the updated content, and make any additional refinements manually.

Key Points to Remember

  • Edit Bot (CHEET): Use the edit bot to dictate changes and let the system handle the rest.
  • Patience with Processing: It may take a moment for the changes to reflect, but the final result will appear in the Notes List.
  • Copy and Paste for Refinements: If further tweaks are needed, you can always make manual edits to the updated note - or do another CHEET edit.
