Risk Bank is Now Called the Spiel Store

To better reflect its purpose and to create a more streamlined experience for our users, Risk Bank has been renamed to Spiel Store.

Why the Change?

At DigitalTCO, we are constantly innovating, updating, and improving the platform to make your workflow more efficient and intuitive. This name update helps align the feature with how it's used in daily practice.

What is the Spiel Store?

The Spiel Store is your library of commonly used patient explanations—from treatment risks to periodontal discussions. These are the spiels you repeat often and can now instantly insert into your notes, saving time and ensuring consistency.

Where to Find It

You can find the Spiel Store by going to the left-hand menu under Settings > Spiel Store.

Setting Up Your Spiels

You can add content to the Spiel Store in two ways:

  • Record Your Explanation directly in DigitalTCO for the most accurate setup.
  • Copy and Paste Prewritten Text if you already have standard wording you use.

Using Trigger Words

Each spiel is linked to a Trigger Word. When you say or type that trigger during your note-taking (in Super Dentist Cheat Mode, Exam Notes, or Treatment Notes), DigitalTCO will automatically insert the relevant explanation.

Example:

  • Trigger: "Periodontal Disease Explained"
  • Result: DigitalTCO inserts your full saved spiel on periodontal disease into the notes.

Make sure your Risk Name and Trigger are the same.

Common Use Cases

  • Treatment Risks (e.g. "Crown Prep Risks", "Root Canal Risks")
  • Radiograph Settings (e.g. "Bitewing Radiograph", "OPT Radiograph")

Pro Tip: Chain Your Spiels

You can chain multiple spiels together for comprehensive, detailed notes—e.g., combine "Crown Prep Risks" + "Periodontal Disease Explained."

Manual Insertion Option

If a spiel doesn't auto-populate:

  • Open the Spiel Store via the pencil and note icon at the bottom right hand side.
  • Find the relevant spiel and copy it to your clipboard.
  • Paste it manually into your notes (Ctrl+V).
