Why Use the Chart?

  • Clarity for Patients: The chart helps translate clinical observations into something patients can actually understand.
  • Tailored Letters: It automatically feeds into patient-facing letters, making them more visual and engaging.
  • Boosts Trust: By helping patients see and grasp what's going on, you build more rapport and transparency.
  • Increases Case Acceptance: Better understanding leads to more informed decisions.

How It Works

  1. Head to Exam Notes.
  2. To record baseline dental charting:
      • Say the trigger phrase "start dental chart"
      • Chart each tooth
      • Once you've completed your baseline charting, say "stop dental chart"
    1. To record treatment plan:
      • Say "start treatment chart"
      • Chart each tooth
      • Say "stop treatment chart"
    2. Keep it efficient. Chart tooth by tooth, minimal fluff. Explanations can be given before or after charting.Dictate the relevant teeth and mark conditions, treatments, or observations using the specific phrasing as shown in the video tutorial.
  3. These selections will auto-populate into the patient note and the accompanying letter when you generate one specifically for the patient.

Integration

Currently, there is no direct import function to any Patient Management Systems as of yet, but a major update is on its way that will significantly expand charting capabilities.
