How To Fix Microphone Permissions
🎙 Some Users Are Experiencing Microphone Issues
DigitalTCO is fully operational — the platform is working as intended.
If you’re clicking “Check Microphone” and nothing is happening, the issue isn’t with DigitalTCO.
Instead, your computer or browser has blocked microphone access — often due to a recent update.
Your microphone may be plugged in, but it’s not connected to DigitalTCO because permissions were removed in your system settings.
✅ Here’s how to fix it:
For macOS
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
- Ensure Google Chrome is toggled ON
- Restart Chrome
For Windows
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
Turn ON:
- Microphone access
- Let apps access your microphone
- Let desktop apps access your microphone
- Scroll down and make sure Google Chrome is enabled
- Restart Chrome
For all browsers
- Click the 🔒 lock icon in the Chrome address bar
- Go to Site settings → Set Microphone to Allow
- Reload the page
