How To Fix Microphone Permissions

🎙 Some Users Are Experiencing Microphone Issues

DigitalTCO is fully operational — the platform is working as intended.

If you’re clicking “Check Microphone” and nothing is happening, the issue isn’t with DigitalTCO.

Instead, your computer or browser has blocked microphone access — often due to a recent update.

Your microphone may be plugged in, but it’s not connected to DigitalTCO because permissions were removed in your system settings.

✅ Here’s how to fix it:

For macOS

  1. Open System SettingsPrivacy & SecurityMicrophone
  2. Ensure Google Chrome is toggled ON
  3. Restart Chrome

For Windows

  1. Go to SettingsPrivacy & SecurityMicrophone

    Turn ON:

    • Microphone access
    • Let apps access your microphone
    • Let desktop apps access your microphone
  2. Scroll down and make sure Google Chrome is enabled
  3. Restart Chrome

For all browsers

  1. Click the 🔒 lock icon in the Chrome address bar
  2. Go to Site settings → Set Microphone to Allow
  3. Reload the page

We’ll also send out an email with these instructions.

If your mic button isn't responding, this is the fix. Just follow the steps above to restore access.
