How Do I Edit My Dental Note After It's Been Generated?

If you want to make changes to your clinical note after it's been generated, here’s how to do it properly:

🚫 Do not edit the note directly on the right-hand side.

That final note is auto-generated — so editing it there won’t carry through.

✅ Option 1: Add a New Transcript Bubble

• Click the microphone again and record your correction or addition.
• This will appear as a new transcript bubble underneath the original one.
• Once recorded, send it to the AI (manually or automatically if Auto-Process is on).
• The AI will update your existing note on the right-hand side to include the new info — no duplication, just a clean edit.

✅ Option 2: Type Your Edit

• Use the Dentist's Notes box on the left-hand side to type out the changes or additions you want to make.
• Hit the aeroplane icon to send it to the AI.
• Your note will be re-processed and updated automatically.

If you’re ever unsure, just remember: all edits should happen on the left-hand side, either by voice or by typing.
